Walter Bigelow Wriston (1919–2005) was an American banker and former chairman and CEO of Citibank and Citicorp 1967–84. One of the most influential commercial bankers of his time, Wriston led the introduction of automated teller machines, interstate banking, the negotiable certificate of deposit, and other innovations in commercial and consumer banking.
