Gerald Gersham Jampolsky (b.1925) is an American psychiatrist. He is an internationally recognized authority on the psychiatry of children who have serious illnesses.

Born in Long Beach, California, Jampolsky obtained a B.A. and an M.D. from Stanford University and served in the U.S. Air Force as a staff psychologist 1953–55. He later taught psychiatry at the University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco for two decades. He then directed the Child Center Annex in Tiburon until 1975, when he established the first Center for Attitudinal Healing in Marin County, California. This center provides free support services to people of all ages, faiths, and cultures who are facing illness, catastrophic events, loss, and life challenges.

Jampolsky’s bestsellers include Love Is Letting Go of Fear (1979,) Teach Only Love (1983,) Goodbye to Guilt (1985,) Out of Darkness, Into the Light: A Journey of Inner Healing (1989,) and Forgiveness: The Greatest Healer of All, Beyond Words (1999.)
