Inspirational Quotes by Amanda Bradley (American Poet)

Amanda Bradley was presumably an American poet whose inspirational poetry and aphorisms appeared in a popular collection of birthday and all-occasion cards from Ambassador and Hallmark during the ’80s and the ’90s.

Bradley is not to be confused with the Pennsylvanian poet-academic of the same name, who is known for the poetry collections Hints and Allegations (2009) and Oz at Night (2011.)

Inspirational Quotes by Amanda Bradley (American Poet)

Forget about the days when it’s been cloudy, But don’t forget about your hours in the sun… Forget about the mistakes that you can’t change now, But don’t forget the lessons that you’ve learned… Forget about the misfortunes you’ve encountered, But don’t forget the times your luck has turned… Forget about the days you’ve been lonely, But don’t forget about the friendly smiles you’ve seen… Forget about the plans that didn’t seem to work out right… But do not forget to always have a dream.
Amanda Bradley

A dream is a daring adventure, a journey to carry you far—for when you can hold a dream in your heart, you surely can reach any star! A dream is a beautiful vision that looks beyond what you can see, then lifts you and guides you and grows strong inside you to help you be all you can be. A dream is your door to tomorrow, a secret reflection of you, a threshold that leads to a wonderful future where nothing’s too good to be true.

Love lives on. Those we love are never really lost to us. We feel them in so many special ways—through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days, in words of wisdom we still carry with us, and memories that never will be gone. Those we love are never really lost to us—for everywhere their special love lives on.
