Inspirational Quotes by Larry King (American TV Personality)

Larry King (1933–2021,) originally Lawrence Harvey Zeiger, was an American talk-show host. He conducted an estimated 50,000 interviews in his six-decade career, which included 25 years as the famous host of Larry King Live (1985–2010,) one of CNN’s longest-running and most popular programs.

Born to Orthodox Jewish immigrant parents in Brooklyn, New York, King grew up in Brooklyn but relocated to South Florida to break into radio. He worked as a disc jockey, sharpening his laid-back, non-confrontational interview style by doing on-location interviews with random subjects. In 1960, he moved to television by hosting a Miami-based talk show.

King rose to stardom in the 1970s with his The Larry King Show on the commercial network Mutual Broadcasting System. He then hosted Larry King Live on CNN. Later, King hosted another program, Larry King Now, distributed on Hulu and RT, Russia’s state-controlled global broadcaster.

King also penned a column for USA Today for over 20 years. His autobiography is My Remarkable Journey (2009.)

King is also the author of How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: The Secrets of Good Communication (1995) and Truth Be Told: Off the Record (2011.)
