Inspirational Quotes by Norm Crosby (American Comedian)

Norm Crosby (1927–2020,) fully Norman Lawrence Crosby, was an American comedian and a regular talk show guest. He is noted for interpolating malapropisms in his standup monologues and was often referred to as “The Master of Malaprop.”

Born to a Jewish family in Boston, Massachusetts, Crosby went solo as a standup comedian in the 1950s. He adopted a friendly, blue-collar, guy-next-door persona and débuted on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in December 1964.

In 1968, Crosby co-starred on The Beautiful Phyllis Diller Show, an NBC twelve-week series. He also co-hosted the Canadian variety television series Everything Goes in 1974.

Crosby appeared in many Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts 1974–84. He hosted The Comedy Shop, featuring up-and-coming standup comics and vaudeville legends 1978–81.
