Inspirational Quotes by Cynthia Heimel (American Humor Columnist)

Cynthia Heimel (1947–2018,) née Glick, was an American feminist humorist writer and columnist. She was known for her humorous and bawdy commentary on sex, romance, and feminism.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Heimel wrote for The Soho Weekly News, Penthouse, The Voice, New York magazine, The Daily News, and Vogue.

Heimel’s works were collected in such books as Sex Tips for Girls (1991,) But Enough About You: Avoiding Fabulousness (1986,) and If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too? (1995.) She adapted the former two books into the play, A Girl’s Guide to Chaos, which opened later off-Broadway at the American Place Theater.
