Inspirational Quotes by F. Trammell Crow (American Businessman)

Fred Trammell Crow (1914–2009) was an American real estate developer from Dallas, Texas. He founded Trammell Crow Company (TCC) in 1948; it’s now the largest commercial real estate developer in America.

Born in Dallas, Texas, Crow studied accounting at Southern Methodist University, becoming the youngest CPA in Texas. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for three years and audited 1940–47 the books of defense contractors of the U.S. Navy. After retiring to Dallas, he ventured into real estate development.

Crow built the Dallas Home Furnishings Mart in the mid-1950s with 8 million square feet of exhibition space. Following this success, he built trade marts from Atlanta to Brussels. In the 1960s and 1970s, Crow built the Peachtree Center in Atlanta and the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco, two urban landmarks. Crow was the largest real estate developer in the nation, with assets worth over $2.7 billion in the 1980s.
