Inspirational Quotes by Joseph Chilton Pearce (American Author)

Joseph “Joe” Chilton Pearce (1926–2016) was an American author of several books on human development, child development, mind-heart connection, and themes in spirituality.

Born in Pineville, Kentucky, Pearce served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He graduated with a B.A. from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, received an M.A. from Indiana, and did post-graduate studies at Geneva Theological College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

Pearce taught college humanities until the mid-1960s and subsequently devoted himself to writing and lecturing. His most notable works are The Crack in the Cosmic Egg (1973,) Magical Child (1977,) The Bond of Power: Meditation and Wholeness (1981,) The Biology of Transcendence (2002,) Death of Religion and the Rebirth of Spirit (2007,) and The Heart-Mind Matrix (2012.)
