Inspirational Quotes by Ambrose Hollingworth Redmoon (James Neil Hollingworth) (American Writer)

James Neil Hollingworth (1933–96,) pseudonym Ambrose Hollingworth Redmoon, was an American beatnik, hippie, and writer. His works include No Peaceful Warriors! (1991.)

Born in Painesville, Ohio, Redmoon was associated with Beat poets of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Moving to California, he became the manager of the psychedelic folk-rock bands Quicksilver Messenger Service and The Ace of Cups.

Redmoon was a founder of Six-Day School located on Mt. Shasta in Siskiyou County, California. This school prepared students for survival amid Armageddon through map and compass reading, survival in the wilderness, and occult studies.
