We need to show kindness to our children,
even when they’ve done something obviously stupid,
and are hurt by the consequences. For instance
a child comes in crying and bleeding.
We must hold on to our frustration, and show kindness,
no matter how much we want to say, “But son,
I’ve told you a thousand times, not to play on the garage roof!”
