Inspirational Quotes by Dada J. P. Vaswani (Indian Hindu Philosopher)

Dada J. P. Vaswani (1918–2018,) fully Jashan Pahlajrai Vaswani, was a non-sectarian spiritual leader from India. He was the spiritual head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, and a promoter of vegetarianism and animal rights.

Born to a Sindhi family in Hyderabad, Sindh, now in Pakistan, Vaswani passed the Bachelor of Science examination at age 17. His master’s degree thesis on “The Scattering of X-Rays by Solids” was assessed by the Nobel Physics laureate C. V. Rāman.

After working for a short while as a fellow in the D. J. Sind College, Karachi, Vaswani gave up a career in academics and became a spiritual guru in the footsteps of his illustrious uncle and guru, Sadhu Vaswani, fully Thanwardas Lilaram Vaswani. For nearly five decades, J. P. Vaswani led the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, a non-profit organization that is headquartered in Pune, India, and runs charitable and educational establishments around the world.

Vaswani wrote over 150 books on spiritualism and self-help, notably Burn Anger Before Anger Burns You (2001,) Life after Death (2005,) Snacks for the Soul (2007,) and 100 Stories You Will Never Forget (2015.) Popular compilations of his teachings include Dada’s Wisdom: Advice & Thoughts for a Happy Life (2014) and Ruzbeh Bharucha’s biography, A Perfect Disciple, A Reluctant Master (2016.)
