Inspirational Quotes by Jack Nicklaus (American Sportsperson)

Jack William Nicklaus (b.1940) is an American professional golfer. He is widely regarded as the greatest golfer of the 20th century. He is the winner of more tournaments than any golfer in history, including nineteen major championships.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Nicklaus started playing golf at the age of ten. He won the U.S. amateur championship twice while a student at Ohio State University (1959–62.) He turned professional in 1962. Over a long career that culminated in his 2005 retirement, he won more than eighty tournaments during his professional career, including the Masters (six times,) the PGA (five times,) the U.S. Open (four times,) and the British Open (thrice.)

Nicklaus is also recognized for designing and building golf courses. His notable books include My Story (2007,) his autobiography, and Golf My Way (2005,) one of the best instructional golf books of all time.
