Mabel Newcomer (1892–1983) was an American economist. She was an economics professor at Vassar College 1917–57. She also taught courses in finance and corporations. Newcomer was known among the Vassar economics department as the best “tax man” during her time there. Her works include Separation of State and Local Revenues in the United States (1917) and Big Business Executive (1955).
