Bruce Feirstein (b.1956) is an American screenwriter and humorist. He is best known for his contributions to the James Bond series of movies and his best-selling humor books, including Real Men Don’t Eat Quiche (1982; on the New York Times Bestseller List for 53 weeks) and Nice Guys Sleep Alone (1986.)
Born in Maplewood, New Jersey, Feirstein attended Boston University. He worked as an advertising copywriter, a freelance writer for many publications, and a contributor to Saturday Night Live and other television shows. He has also appeared as a political commentator on television.
In 1995, Feirstein began working on the James Bond franchise. He co-wrote the screenplays for the films GoldenEye (1995,) Tomorrow Never Dies (1997,) and The World Is Not Enough (1999.) He has also worked on screenplays for many other movies and has produced films in China.
Feirstein’s Old School: Life in the Sane Lane, written with political commentator Bill O’Reilly, appeared in 2017.
