Marilyn Moats Kennedy (1944–2017) was an American career strategist and author.
Kennedy attended Northwestern University, taught journalism at DePaul University, and worked at a business that planned corporate meetings before founding her consulting company called Career Strategies.
Kennedy wrote a long-running careers column for Glamour magazine, as well as books on office politics, getting noticed, promoted, and paid better. She did speaking engagements and appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s TV show and other morning news programs.
