Inspirational Quotes by Chris LeDoux (American Musician)

Chris LeDoux (1948–2005) was an American country music singer-songwriter, bronze sculptor, and hall of fame rodeo champion. One of the best-known performers in Wyoming’s history, he first made a name for his bareback-riding talent and then penned countless songs about the rodeo life.

Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, LeDoux began rodeo contests at 14 and was the bareback champion of the Wyoming High School Rodeo. Before pursuing a rodeo career, he attended Casper College and later Sheridan College and New Mexico State.

LeDoux withdrew from the rodeo circuit in 1984 to focus on his music career. He recorded 22 albums before signing with Capitol Records in 1991. His albums sold more than 6 million copies, earning two gold and one platinum album certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and a Grammy Award.

David G. Brown wrote Gold Buckle Dreams: The Rodeo Life of Chris LeDoux (1987.)
