Inspirational Quotes by Harmon Killebrew (American Baseball Player)

Harmon Killebrew (1936–2011,) fully Harmon Clayton Killebrew, Jr., byname Killer, was an American professional baseball player. He amassed 573 home runs during his 22-year career (1954–75) in Major League Baseball (MLB) and ranked among the greatest home-run hitters in the sport’s history.

Born on a farm in Payette, Idaho, Killebrew was signed by the Washington Senators a few days before he turned 18. He stayed with the team through most of his career, even when the team relocated and became the Minnesota Twins in 1961. He signed with the Kansas City Royals in 1975 and retired in 1976.

In retirement, Killebrew established an insurance business and an automobile dealership and worked in sports broadcasting.
