Dan Sullivan (b.1944) is an Canadian entrepreneurial coach, author, and co-founder of Strategic Coach.
Born in Ohio, Sullivan studied liberal arts and philosophy at St. John’s College. His early career included work with the FBI in Washington, D.C., military service during the Vietnam era, and advertising in Toronto as a copywriter. After experiencing both entrepreneurial success and bankruptcy, he transformed those setbacks into the foundation for his coaching philosophy. In 1989, he and his wife and business partner, Babs Smith, co-founded Strategic Coach.
Sullivan has authored more than 50 books and guides, including The Laws of Lifetime Growth (2006,) The Gap and the Gain (2021,) Who Not How (2020,) and 10x Is Easier Than 2x (2023.)
