Inspirational Quotes by James Gordon Lindsay (American Pentecostal Pastor)

James Gordon Lindsay (1906–73) was an American Pentecostal evangelist and priest. A Christian revivalist preacher, he was the founder of the Christ for the Nations Institute.

Born in Zion City, Illinois, Lindsay began his ministry at the age of eighteen. He worked as a traveling evangelist, conducting meetings in Assembly of God churches and other Pentecostal groups. He launched the Voice of Healing periodical in 1948, which became particularly popular in the Southern United States.

A skilled church organizer, Lindsay began sponsoring missions programs in numerous foreign countries and started a radio ministry. The Voice of Healing magazine changed names to World-Wide Revival and then Christ for the Nations. In 1970, he established the Bible training institute Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.

Lindsay was a prolific writer, publishing over 250 volumes of historical and doctrinal books on the Christian Revivalist movement. His notable works include Life After Death (1956,) Prayer & Fasting: the Master Key to the Impossible (1957,) and How to Be Enriched by Giving (1974.)
