Inspirational Quotes by Glenn Beck (American Mormon Children’s Books Writer)

Glenn Edward Lee Beck (b.1964) is an American radio and television personality. He is a self-proclaimed right-wing political commentator who has frequently drawn criticism for his provocative rhetoric. He was an influential figure in the conservative movement during the 2000s.

Born in Everett, Washington, Beck held a series of radio broadcasting jobs before launching the Glenn Beck Program in Florida in 2000. Two years later, the local show became national and presented on 47 stations across the United States. By 2008, the show was ranked fourth in the nation and boasted 6.5 million listeners. In 2009, Beck joined the Fox News Channel as host of the Glenn Beck television show.

Beck’s outspokenness earned him a faithful fan base—his followers admired his defense of time-honored American values. However, Beck’s many detractors accused him of promoting conspiracy theories and denounced him for making outrageous statements for the sake of ratings. In April 2011, Beck’s show was canceled owing to a lack of supporting advertisers.

A best-selling author, Beck released six books in the 2000s, including The Real America: Messages from the Heart and Heartland (2003,) An Inconvenient Book: Real Solutions to the World’s Biggest Problems (2007,) and Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government (2009.)
