Inspirational Quotes by Andre Agassi (American Tennis Player)

Andre Kirk Agassi (b.1970) is a retired American professional tennis player. During 1992–2003, he won the men’s singles title at one Wimbledon, two U.S. Opens, one French Open, and four Australian Open tournaments. Agassi was also famous for his movie-star looks, his lucrative endorsement contract, and his marriages to actress Brooke Shields and, currently, to fellow tennis star Steffi Graf.

After retiring from professional sport in 2006, Agassi dedicated himself to his family and his philanthropy. In 1994, he started the charity Andre Agassi Foundation, which assists at-risk youth in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Agassi’s New York Times bestselling autobiography Open (2009) revealed shocking details about Agassi’s life as a tennis player—particularly his use of addictive drugs in 1997, and his failing a drug test, and lying to tennis officials to avoid suspension and punishment.
