Inspirational Quotes by Clyde M. Narramore (American Psychologist)

Dr. Clyde M. Narramore (1916–2015) was an American psychologist, author, and Christian counselor who integrated psychology and Christian faith in counseling and education, influencing generations of educators, pastors, and mental health professionals.

Born in Palo Verde, Arizona, Narramore was raised on a ranch and studied psychology, education, business, and music at Arizona State University and the University of Southern California. He later earned a Doctorate in Education from Columbia University and became a licensed psychologist in California.

Narramore founded the Narramore Christian Foundation (1958,) the first international Christian counseling and training ministry, and co-founded the Christian Educators Association International (1953,) supporting Christian professionals in public education. In 1970, he established the Rosemead School of Psychology, now part of Biola University, offering advanced psychology training rooted in a Christian worldview.

Notable works include The Psychology of Counseling (1954,) The Encyclopedia of Psychological Problems (1966,) and This Way to Happiness (1972.) He also launched Psychology for Living (1954,) a radio program airing on over 300 stations worldwide. His autobiography is Every Person is Worth Understanding (2011.)
