William M. London is an American public health professor, consumer advocate, and science communicator focused on health fraud prevention and consumer education. His research examines alternative medicine, misinformation, and public health policy.
He holds degrees in biological sciences, geography, educational psychology, health education, and public health from the University at Buffalo and Loma Linda University. He has taught at Kent State University, College of Saint Elizabeth, Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, and California State University, Los Angeles. At Charles Drew University, he helped establish the Master of Public Health in Urban Public Health program, training professionals in disease prevention and health promotion for underserved communities.
His publications include Consumer Health: A Guide to Intelligent Decisions (2012,) co-authored with Stephen Barrett, offering insights into health fraud and consumer protection. He has contributed to The Scientific Review of Alternative Medicine and Focus on Alternative and Complementary Therapies.
