Arthur Kroker (b.1945) is a Canadian author, editor, educator, and researcher known for his work in political science, technology, and culture. A prominent voice in digital theory, he explores technology’s intersection with philosophy and postmodernism.

Kroker earned a PhD in political science from McMaster University (1975) and later became a professor at the University of Victoria, directing the Pacific Centre for Technology and Culture (PACTAC.) He was appointed to the Canada Research Chair in technology, culture, and theory (2003.) He also co-edited Critical Digital Studies: A Reader (2008,) contributing to digital media discourse.
