Stan Dale (1929–2007) was an American radio broadcaster, writer, and educator known for his work in relationship dynamics, human sexuality, and personal growth. He founded the Human Awareness Institute (HAI) in 1968, promoting intimacy, communication, and self-awareness.

Born in New York City, Dale studied psychology and sociology, earning degrees from Roosevelt University and the Illinois Institute of Applied Psychology. He later obtained a degree in human sexuality from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, where he also served as an adjunct professor.

A pioneer in psychological-based radio programming, Dale hosted the first call-in mental health talk show in Chicago. He later hosted shows on San Francisco Bay Area stations KGO, KSFO, and K101, discussing relationships, self-improvement, and emotional well-being. He also served as a visiting professor at Shandong and Beijing Universities, contributing to cross-cultural studies on human relationships.

Notable works include Fantasies Can Set You Free (1980,) exploring fantasy in personal growth, and My Child, My Self: How to Raise the Child You Always Wanted to Be (1992,) examining parenting and self-awareness.
