Inspirational Quotes by Naomi Wolf (American Feminist Writer)

Naomi R. Wolf (b.1962) is an American liberal progressive feminist author and journalist. She was a political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton.

Born to a Jewish family in San Francisco, Wolf studied at Yale and was a Rhodes Scholar at New College-Oxford.

Wolf is a leading spokesperson of “third-wave feminism,” in which women are no longer seen as victims of a male-dominated society but as equals empowered by choice and opportunity.

Wolf’s books include The Beauty Myth (1991; about the exploitation of women by the beauty and fashion industries,) Fire with Fire (1993; about female empowerment,) Promiscuities (1997; about female adolescent sexuality,) and Misconceptions (2001; about childbirth and motherhood.)

Her later books include The End of America (2007,) Give Me Liberty (2008,) and Vagina: A New Biography (2012.) She has written for media outlets such as The Nation, The New Republic, The Guardian, and The Huffington Post.
