Louis J. Glickman (1905–99) was a New York-based real estate investor and philanthropist.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Glickman attended Brown University and the University of Virginia and joined his father Pincus Glickman’s real estate and construction firm. In 1956, he unsuccessfully tried to buy the Carnegie Hall and abandoned plans to build a 40-story office building.
Glickman’s philanthropic interests included the Jewish nonprofits and universities and cerebral palsy- and epilepsy-related nonprofits.
