Inspirational Quotes by Troy Aikman (American Footballer)

Troy Aikman (b.1966) is an American former football quarterback, best known for leading the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories (1993, 1994, 1996.) Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2006,) he remains a prominent figure in NFL history.

Born in West Covina, California, he moved to Henryetta, Oklahoma, excelling in football and baseball. He played at the University of Oklahoma (1984–85) before transferring to UCLA (1986–88,) winning the Davey O’Brien Award (1988.)

Selected first overall in the 1989 NFL Draft by Dallas, Aikman overcame a difficult rookie season to become a six-time Pro Bowler (1991–96) and Super Bowl XXVII MVP (1993.) He retired in 2000 with 32,942 passing yards and 165 touchdowns.

Post-football, he became a broadcaster, serving as Fox Sports’ lead NFL analyst (2001–21) before joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football (2022–present.) His books include Aikman (1995,) a memoir of his career, and Game for Life: Troy Aikman (2019,) exploring his journey from college to the NFL.
