Skeet Ulrich (b.1970,) born Bryan Ray Trout, is an American actor best known for his roles in 1990s films and television dramas. His performances in thrillers and crime dramas made him a recognizable Hollywood figure.
Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Ulrich studied marine biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington before transferring to New York University, where he trained under David Mamet. His early career included uncredited roles in Weekend at Bernie’s (1989) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990.)
Ulrich gained fame with breakout roles in The Craft (1996) and Scream (1996) as Billy Loomis, a defining slasher character. He later starred in As Good as It Gets (1997,) Ride with the Devil (1999,) and Soul Assassin (2001.)
On television, Ulrich played Jake Green in Jericho (2006–08) and F.P. Jones in Riverdale (2017–21.) He also appeared in Law & Order: LA (2010–11) and Unforgettable (2015–16.)
