Inspirational Quotes by Shah Nimatullah Wali (Persian Sufi Master)

Shah Nimatullah Wali (1330–1431) was a Persian Sūfī master, poet, and spiritual leader who founded the Ni’matullahi Sūfī Order, which remains influential in Iran and beyond. His teachings emphasized mysticism, divine love, and spiritual enlightenment. His shrine in Mahan, Iran, attracts followers of Sūfīsm and Persian mysticism.

Born in Aleppo, Syria, or possibly Kerman, Iran, Nimatullah traveled extensively across the Islamic world, studying under various Sūfī masters. A disciple of Abdollah Yafe’i Suhrawardiyya in Mecca, he trained for seven years before embarking on his own spiritual journey. He later settled in Kerman, where his Sūfī order flourished.

Nimatullah authored numerous poetic and philosophical works, including Majmua-e-Ishqiya (1914,) Ganj-e-Tilism (1940,) Shah Nematullah Wali Ki Peshangoiyan (2007,) and Qaseeda Aur Quran Kareem Ki Pesheen Goiyan (2007.) His poetry, deeply rooted in Sūfī mysticism, explores themes of divine love, unity, and spiritual awakening.
