Sefryana Khairil (b.1988) is an Indonesian writer, editor, and scriptwriter known for her romance and domestic drama novels. She has published numerous works with GagasMedia and Gramedia Pustaka Utama, establishing herself as a leading voice in contemporary Indonesian literature.
Born in Jakarta, Khairil began writing early, publishing her first short story at 11 in Aneka Yess! magazine. At 15, she released her début novel, YOU (2005,) followed by Kata Hati (2006,) which gained popularity among young readers. Beyond novels, she is active as a scriptwriter, copywriter, and public speaker, mentoring young writers and contributing to Indonesian literary culture.
Notable works include Dongeng Semusim (2009,) a bestseller, Rindu (2010,) and Tanah Air Beta (2010,) adapted from the Alenia Pictures film. In 2011, several of her books were exhibited at the Bern Book Fair in Switzerland. Her novel Almost is Never Enough (2023) was adapted into a feature film by Multivision Plus.
