Natasha Josefowitz (1926–2023) was an American author, speaker, and professor. With a repertoire of 21 books covering topics ranging from management textbooks to humorous verse, she gained recognition as a best-selling author and a syndicated columnist.

Born in Paris, France, Natasha fled Europe during World War II and eventually traveled to the United States. There, she pursued her academic aspirations and obtained a Ph. D. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. Venturing into academia, she became a San Diego State University professor, teaching management, women in the workplace, and aging.

Natasha’s expertise in management resulted in the publication of several notable books. Among them are Paths to Power: A Woman’s Guide from First Job to Top Executive (1985) and Living Without the One You Cannot Live Without: Hope and Healing After Loss (1993.) She also explored various aspects of leadership, personal growth, and overcoming life’s challenges in works such as Managing Upward: Living with Your Boss (1979,) Too Wise to Want To Be Young Again (1995,) and Aging: An Apprenticeship (2013.) Memoirs include The Glass Heart (2000) and Totally Worth It: Reflections on Writing, Walking, and Embracing the World (2015.)
