Larry Joe Bird (b.1956) is an American basketball legend, widely hailed as one of the greatest players in NBA history and a supreme pure shooter. In NBA annals, he remains the sole individual to clinch titles as Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year.

Born in West Baden Springs, Indiana, Bird’s basketball odyssey commenced in the collegiate arena. He led the Indiana State Sycamores to the 1979 NCAA Championship game against Magic Johnson’s Michigan State team, marking the onset of a legendary rivalry.
