Inspirational Quotes by L. Ron Hubbard (American Religious Leader)

L. Ron Hubbard (1911–86,) fully Lafayette Ronald Hubbard, was an American author and founder of the Church of Scientology. His teachings, blending psychology, religion, and self-help, shaped alternative spirituality and self-improvement.

Born in Tilden, Nebraska, Hubbard attended George Washington University but did not graduate. He pursued various careers, including writing and exploration, before serving in the military during World War II, experiences that influenced his later philosophy. He wrote extensively, producing works that became central to Scientology’s doctrine.

His most famous book, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health (1950,) introduced the concept of the “reactive mind” and the practice of “auditing,” leading to the Church of Scientology’s formation in 1954. Other influential works, such as The Problems of Work (1979) and Scientology: The Fundamentals of Thought (1976,) expanded on his theories.

Under Hubbard’s leadership, Scientology grew rapidly despite criticism for its secrecy and aggressive tactics. His writings continue to shape its philosophy and growth.
