Inspirational Quotes by John F. Kennedy Jr. (American Publisher, Lawyer)

John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. (1960–99) was an American lawyer, journalist, and magazine publisher, widely known as the son of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. A charismatic figure, he pursued law and media, avoiding politics despite his family’s legacy.

Born in Washington, D.C., Kennedy spent his early years in the White House before his father’s assassination (1963.) He attended Brown University, earning a history degree, then obtained his law degree from New York University. He worked as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan before shifting to journalism.

In 1995, Kennedy founded George, a political and lifestyle magazine blending celebrity culture with politics. Despite gaining attention, George struggled financially and ceased publication in 2001. Kennedy was a prominent social figure, often in the media spotlight. His life ended tragically when he, his wife Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and her sister Lauren Bessette died in a 1999 plane crash near Martha’s Vineyard.

Biographies include Steven M. Gillon’s America’s Reluctant Prince (2019) and Christopher Andersen’s The Day John Died (2000.) RoseMarie Terenzio’s Fairy Tale Interrupted (2012) offers a personal perspective from his former assistant.
