Jenny McCarthy (b.1972,) fully Jennifer McCarthy Wahlberg, originally Jennifer Ann McCarthy, is an American actress, model, television host, and activist. She has had a successful career in the entertainment industry, and has become a divisive figure due to her involvement in autism advocacy.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, McCarthy gained fame as Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Year 1993. She then transitioned into television, notably co-hosting the popular MTV game show Singled Out. Her versatility and charisma led to numerous acting roles and hosting opportunities, including her own talk show.
In addition to her accomplishments in the entertainment field, McCarthy is known for her advocacy work in raising awareness about autism, which was motivated by her son’s diagnosis. However, her controversial views on vaccination safety have drawn both support and criticism.
