Georgie Anne Geyer (1935–2019) was an American journalist and foreign correspondent known for her in-depth reporting on global affairs. She covered international conflicts, interviewed world leaders, and was a syndicated columnist for the Universal Press Syndicate, with her work appearing in over 120 newspapers.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Geyer studied journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and later attended the University of Vienna on a Fulbright Scholarship. She began at the Chicago Daily News, shifting from social reporting to foreign correspondence. She was the first Western journalist to interview Saddam Hussein (1973) and also interviewed Fidel Castro, Yasser Arafat, Anwar Sadat, and Muammar Gaddafi.

Geyer authored The New Latins (1970,) Buying the Night Flight: The Autobiography of a Woman Foreign Correspondent (1982,) Guerrilla Prince: The Untold Story of Fidel Castro (1991,) Americans No More (1996,) and When Cats Reigned Like Kings: On the Trail of Sacred Cats (2004.)
