His notable publications include Doonesbury Chronicles (1975,) Duke 2000: Whatever It Takes (2000,) and Yuge!: 30 Years of Doonesbury on Trump (2016,) compiling decades of political satire. His work has been adapted into books, stage productions, and television specials, including A Doonesbury Special (1977,) nominated for an Academy Award. Beyond comics, he created the Amazon Studios political comedy series Alpha House (2013–14,) reflecting his sharp political humor.
