Deborah Anne Norville (b.1958) is an American television journalist, author, and businesswoman, best known as the longtime anchor of Inside Edition, which she has hosted since 1995. Over her decades-long career, she has worked for CBS and NBC, earning multiple Emmy Awards.
Born in Dalton, Georgia, Norville graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She began as an intern at Georgia Public Television before securing a reporting job at WAGA-TV in Atlanta. Her national breakthrough came in 1989 when she joined NBC’s Today as a co-host.
Beyond television, Norville launched the Deborah Norville Collection, a yarn line for knitting and crochet enthusiasts. She is also an accomplished author, writing Thank You Power: Making the Science of Gratitude Work for You (2007,) a New York Times bestseller, and The Power of Respect: Benefit from the Most Forgotten Element of Success (2009.) Additionally, she authored Back on Track: How to Straighten Out Your Life When It Throws You a Curve (1997.)
