Colin Edward Quinn (b.1959) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is known for his quick wit, dry humor, and commentary on American culture and politics.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Quinn began his career in comedy as the co-host of MTV’s game show Remote Control in the late 1980s. He then became a regular cast member on the American late-night live television show Saturday Night Live 1995–2000, where he anchored the ‘Weekend Update’ segment.
Quinn has also appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including Grown Ups (2010,) Sandy Wexler (2017,) and The Irishman (2019.) He is also known for his one-person comedy shows on Broadway, including Long Story Short (2011,) Unconstitutional (2015.) His works include The Coloring Book (2015) and Overstated (2020.)
