Anthony Brooks is an American journalist and political reporter with over 30 years in public radio, covering politics, urban affairs, and social issues. He has worked with WBUR and NPR, reporting for Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Weekend Edition.
A Boston-based NPR correspondent, he covered the 2000 presidential election and later investigated urban violence and wrongful convictions as a Knight Wallace Fellow. His documentary Testing DNA and The Death Penalty-InsideOut (2002) won the Robert F. Kennedy Award. He has hosted On Point and Here & Now.
