Annie Lennox (b.1954,) née Ann Lennox, is a Scottish singer-songwriter, political activist, and philanthropist, best known for her work with Eurythmics and her solo career. She is regarded as one of Britain’s most influential musicians, with a distinctive voice and commanding stage presence.

Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Lennox studied at the Royal Academy of Music, later joining The Tourists before forming Eurythmics with Dave Stewart. Their hits include
