Inspirational Quotes by Andrew Bernstein (American Philosopher)

Andrew Bernstein (b.1949) is an American philosopher, author, and lecturer, known for advocating Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. His work on capitalism, heroism, and individual rights has made him a significant voice in contemporary philosophy.

Bernstein earned a PhD in Philosophy from the City University of New York and taught at SUNY Purchase, Marist College, Hunter College, and Clemson University. He lectures internationally, speaking at Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, and Yale.

His major publications include The Capitalist Manifesto: The Historic, Economic, and Philosophic Case for Laissez-Faire (2005,) Objectivism in One Lesson: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Ayn Rand (2008,) Capitalism Unbound: The Incontestable Case for Individual Rights (2010,) and Capitalist Solutions: A Philosophy of American Moral Dilemmas (2011.) His latest book, Heroes, Legends, Champions: Why Heroism Matters (2020,) examines heroism’s significance in human history.

Bernstein also authored CliffsNotes for Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and Anthem and contributed essays to Essays on Ayn Rand’s Anthem (2005) and Essays on Ayn Rand’s We the Living (2004.) His op-eds have appeared in Forbes, The Washington Times, and The Chicago Tribune.
