Inspirational Quotes by Adam Walinsky (American Lawyer)

Adam Walinsky (1937–2023) was an American lawyer, speechwriter, and political strategist, recognized for his work with Senator Robert F. Kennedy and his contributions to criminal justice reform.

Born in New York City, he earned a B.A. from Cornell University (1957) and an LLB from Yale (1961.) He began his career as an attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice (1963–64) before serving as a legislative assistant and speechwriter for Kennedy (1964–68,) shaping speeches focused on social justice and economic equality.

Following Kennedy’s assassination, Walinsky continued advocating for criminal justice reform, founding the Police Corps program to improve law enforcement training and community relations. He served as Chairman of the New York State Commission of Investigation (1978–81) and was the Democratic nominee for New York Attorney General (1970.) His speeches and policy contributions are archived in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library.
